Emily, a California native, but an east coaster at heart, moved to NYC in 2012 on a whim. She spent over a decade working different fashion and retail jobs, from store manager, stylist, buyer and more. With the hit of the pandemic she was furloughed from her job and took the time to teach herself to sew. First starting with masks then falling in love with the artform. Emily enrolled in classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology studying haute couture sewing techniques and pattern making, earning a certification through online and night classes. Emily now resides in Philly with her husband and dog Penny.
